Rekindled Persephone!

In-between working on Lore Rekindled, I decided to draw Persephone! The neat thing about working as an assistant on this comic is that I get to go hogwild with textures, which is quite fun. You can pry the Add Glow layers from my cold dead hands.

i always forget about this panel, probably because my brain wipes it from my mind for my own sake, but jfc this man is straight up Joe Goldberg with his drawer of things he kept from Persephone. Literally the baklava and the business card are the only things she gave him and everything else he has in there was taken against her knowing. Hecate gave him the letter Persephone had wrote to her (and I’m still pissed at Hecate for that, fr), he kept the flower petals left behind in his bed from the first night she stayed there, and of course he just had to go full stalker and take the mug from her desk with her lipstick mark on it.

Hades is the equivalent of a 40 year old man and she is his literally 19 year old intern. This is not romantic. This is not love.

I’ve had like 10 people correct me that the mug is from Persephone’s stay at Hades in the first few episodes, meaning it’s his mug. Whoopsie. Still creepy LMAO (esp b/c that mug was from DAY FUCKING ONE- 😭💀)
